At Beyond Tools, we take pride in delivering a premium experience from order to delivery. As a family-run, independently owned specialist store, we work hard to ensure your tools and machinery arrive safely, securely and as quickly as possible.

This policy reflects our commitment to honest communication, fair pricing, and exceptional customer service — while recognising the realities of freight, delivery partners and oversized machinery logistics in Australia.

Free Shipping Offer

Orders over $149 AUD ship free within Australia.*
*Exclusions apply:

  • Orders $149 and under

  • Bulky, oversized or heavy items

  • Clearance or discontinued items

  • Dangerous goods

  • Regional and remote postcodes where surcharges apply

If your order falls outside the free-shipping criteria, we will contact you prior to despatch. Beyond Tools reserves the right to update or withdraw the free shipping offer at any time.

Product Availability

Whilst we make every effort to maintain accurate stock availability on our website, stock discrepancies may occasionally occur due to:

  • Supplier availability changes
  • Multiple sales channels
  • Inventory timing delays
  • Freight or warehouse processing delays
  • Supplier stock feed inaccuracies

If an item is unavailable, backordered, discontinued or subject to a pricing change, our team will contact you as soon as possible to discuss the available options.

Estimated supply timeframes:

  • WA supplier stock: typically 2–3 business days
  • Interstate supplier stock: typically 7–10 business days
  • International supplier stock or special-order items: typically 30–120+ days depending on supplier production schedules, shipping methods, customs clearance and global freight conditions

Where available, international backordered items may be expedited via air freight at the customer’s request. Please note:

  • Additional air freight charges may apply
  • Rush surcharges may apply
  • Supplier minimum order quantities (MOQs) may apply
  • Availability of expedited freight services cannot be guaranteed

If you require an item urgently, we strongly recommend contacting our team prior to ordering to confirm:

  • Current stock availability
  • Estimated lead times
  • Freight options
  • Supplier availability

All supplier lead times, estimated arrival dates and expected delivery dates are provided in good faith and are estimates only. Production delays, supplier shortages, customs processing, shipping schedules, industrial action, weather events and global freight disruptions may affect availability. Beyond Tools cannot guarantee supplier lead times and shall not be liable for delays outside of our reasonable control.

Special Order Products

Products sourced specifically for a customer, including special-order items, non-stocked products, custom machinery configurations, imported products and supplier-direct orders, may be subject to extended lead times.

Cancellation requests for special-order products may not be accepted once the order has been placed with the supplier.

Special-order products may also be subject to supplier cancellation fees, freight charges, administration fees or restocking fees where applicable.

Transit Cover (Highly Recommended)

Beyond Tools strongly recommends purchasing Transit Cover during checkout, particularly for:

  • High-value orders
  • Machinery and equipment
  • Fragile goods
  • Remote deliveries
  • Unattended delivery locations
  • International shipments

Transit Cover provides additional protection for eligible shipments and assists in ensuring lost or damaged goods can be reimbursed or replaced, subject to the carrier's assessment and claim approval.

Customers who decline Transit Cover acknowledge that any compensation available for lost, stolen or damaged shipments may be limited to the carrier's standard liability provisions, which may not cover the full value of the goods purchased.

For orders exceeding AUD $1,000, Transit Cover is strongly recommended.

Lost in Transit

Whilst Beyond Tools takes every reasonable care when packing and dispatching your order, occasionally shipments may be delayed, misdirected, lost or damaged during transit.

If your order has not arrived within the expected delivery timeframe, please contact us as soon as possible.

  • Australian customers must notify Beyond Tools within 30 days of dispatch.
  • International customers must notify Beyond Tools within 60 days of dispatch.
  • Beyond Tools will lodge an investigation with the relevant carrier on your behalf.
  • Carrier investigations may take between 5 and 30 business days, or longer depending on the carrier and destination.
  • Refunds, replacements or credits will not be issued until the carrier has completed its investigation and confirmed the shipment as lost.

Where Transit Cover has been purchased, approved claims will be processed in accordance with the carrier's claim outcome and Transit Cover terms.

Where Transit Cover has not been purchased, compensation may be limited to the carrier's standard liability provisions and may not reflect the full value of the goods purchased.

Damaged in Transit

Please do not sign for a shipment that shows visible damage.

If transit damage is discovered after opening the packaging, please contact our team immediately with:

  • Photographs of the item
  • Photographs of the packaging
  • Your order number

This allows us to lodge a freight claim as quickly as possible.

Incorrect Item / Not as Advertised

If you receive an incorrect item, please contact our team at:

Please include your order number and photos where applicable so we can resolve the issue promptly.

Pricing / Product Errors

While we strive for complete accuracy, Beyond Tools reserves the right to cancel and refund any order affected by:

  • Pricing errors
  • Product description errors
  • Supplier price changes
  • Availability issues
  • Technical or system errors

Faulty Product

If you believe your product is faulty, please contact us promptly.

Products may need to be returned for assessment prior to repair, replacement or refund approval. Some manufacturers require products to be inspected directly by their authorised service agents before warranty outcomes can be determined.

Collect in Store or Delivery?

Customers may choose:

  • Free in-store collection from our Malaga, WA showroom
  • Delivery via our national and international carrier network

Authority to Leave

If you request Authority To Leave (ATL) during checkout, you accept responsibility for the parcel once the carrier confirms delivery at the nominated address.

By selecting ATL:

  • Beyond Tools is not responsible for loss, theft or damage after delivery confirmation
  • Delivery will be considered complete once the carrier records the parcel as delivered
  • Claims for non-delivery may not be accepted where proof of delivery has been supplied by the carrier

Delivery Charges

Shipping costs are dynamically calculated at checkout based on:

  • Weight
  • Dimensions
  • Delivery postcode
  • Freight requirements

International Shipping, Duties & Taxes

Where available, duties and taxes are prepaid at checkout through our international shipping and customs partners to help minimise delays and unexpected import charges.

However, customs authorities, border agencies and delivery carriers in some countries may occasionally request duties, taxes, GST, VAT, brokerage fees, customs clearance fees or other import-related charges a second time upon arrival, even where these charges have already been prepaid.

If this occurs:

  • We strongly recommend paying the charges promptly to avoid delays, storage fees, return-to-sender fees, abandonment or destruction of the shipment.
  • Retain all receipts, invoices and customs documentation.
  • Contact Beyond Tools immediately with your order number and proof of payment.

We will work with our freight, customs and logistics partners to investigate the matter and seek reimbursement of any duplicated charges where appropriate.

Please note:

  • Reimbursement is not guaranteed and remains subject to investigation and approval by the relevant customs authority, carrier or customs partner.
  • Customs procedures vary between countries and remain outside Beyond Tools' control.
  • Duties, taxes, customs charges, shipping charges and brokerage fees are generally non-refundable once an order has been dispatched.

These charges vary depending on your country’s import regulations.

Please note:

If You Are Asked To Pay Duties or Taxes Again

In some cases, local customs authorities or delivery carriers may incorrectly request duties or taxes a second time upon arrival, even if these charges were prepaid at checkout.

If this occurs, we strongly recommend paying the charges to avoid the shipment being:

  • Delayed
  • Returned
  • Abandoned
  • Destroyed by customs or the carrier

Once payment has been made, please contact our team with:

  • Your order number
  • Proof of payment
  • Any customs or carrier documentation received

We will work with our shipping and customs partners to investigate and attempt to recover the duplicated charges where possible.

Please note:

  • Reimbursement is not guaranteed and remains subject to customs authority and carrier approval
  • Returned, refused or abandoned international shipments may incur additional return freight, customs, handling or carrier fees which may be deducted from any applicable refund

Refused, Returned or Abandoned International Shipments

Add this directly underneath the Duties & Taxes section:

If an international shipment is refused, abandoned, unclaimed or returned to sender due to unpaid duties, taxes, customs fees, brokerage fees or import restrictions, the customer may be responsible for:

  • Original outbound freight charges
  • Return freight charges
  • Customs processing fees
  • Carrier handling fees
  • Storage charges
  • Restocking fees where applicable

Any refund issued may be reduced by these costs.

Delivery Locations

Beyond Tools ships Australia-wide and to most international destinations.

For eligible international items, freight costs are dynamically calculated at checkout.

If shipping rates do not appear:

  • The item may exceed carrier limits
  • The item may require specialised freight
  • International delivery restrictions may apply

  • Product details

We will confirm shipping availability and provide a freight quotation where possible.

Delivery Tracking

Tracking details are supplied via email once your order has been packed and ready to be despatched.

Proof of delivery (POD) is available upon request.

If you have questions regarding your shipment, please contact our team directly.

Carrier proof of delivery, delivery scans, GPS delivery records, photographic evidence and delivery confirmation records supplied by the carrier may be relied upon by Beyond Tools when assessing delivery-related claims.

Receiving your Order

Carrier deliveries generally occur Monday–Friday between 9am–5pm.

Specific delivery days, times or weekends cannot usually be guaranteed through external freight providers.

If no one is available at the delivery address:

  • A card may be left by the carrier
  • Re-delivery fees may apply
  • Collection from the carrier depot may be required

All deliveries must be signed for unless ATL has been selected.

Identification may be required upon delivery.

By selecting ATL:

  • Beyond Tools is not responsible for loss, theft or damage after delivery confirmation.
  • Delivery will be considered complete once the carrier records the parcel as delivered.
  • Risk and responsibility for the goods transfers to the customer upon delivery.
  • Claims for non-delivery may not be accepted where proof of delivery has been supplied by the carrier.

Western Australia Customers:

Where possible, our Beyond Tools WA delivery team may deliver outside standard business hours, including:

  • Evenings
  • Weekends
  • Public holidays

This allows us to provide faster local delivery where practical.

Australia Post Customers:
Customers may manage delivery preferences directly through the Australia Post app for eligible consignments.

Delivery Requiring a Forklift or Loading Dock

If your order requires a forklift or loading dock:

  • Please advise us during checkout
  • This may reduce freight charges

If unloading facilities are confirmed but unavailable upon delivery:

  • Delivery may be aborted
  • Re-delivery charges may apply
  • Original delivery charges will not be refunded

If you do not have unloading facilities available:

  • Depot collection may be arranged
  • A Tail-Lift Delivery service may be added where available - you can search this on our website.

Packaging

  • Items over 25kg must be packed on a pallet or crate for safe forklift handling. (Items over 25kg cannot be safely hand unloaded by 1 person).

  • Items over 50kg require a forklift or loading dock at the shipping destination. If you do not have these facilities, please select a tail-lift delivery add-on, or choose depot collection.

  • Unboxed items (Second Hand, Ex-Display, Carton Damaged etc.) may require custom crating. We will advise the cost after your order is placed.

Bulky / Oversized Items

At Beyond Tools, we strive to provide efficient and cost-effective delivery services for all our customers. Our delivery policy for bulk and oversized items is designed to ensure that these items reach you safely and promptly. Please review the following details regarding our delivery process and policies for bulk and oversized items:

Standard delivery charges apply only to regular-sized items.

For bulky or oversized items:

  • Additional freight charges may apply

  • Special handling and transport requirements may affect delivery times

  • A freight quote will be provided at time of purchase

  • Additional freight charges must be paid before dispatch

  • A detailed invoice will be provided for transparency

Delivery Restrictions

  • Geographic Restrictions: Some remote or hard-to-reach locations may incur higher freight charges or may not be serviceable. Our team will inform you of any such restrictions during the order process.
  • Access Requirements: It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the delivery location is accessible for large delivery vehicles. Please notify us of access issues at the time of purchase.

Our In-House 2-Tonne HIAB

Beyond Tools also operates its own 2-tonne HIAB truck, available for select machinery and oversized deliveries.
This allows us to:

  • Provide safer and more controlled unloading

  • Reduce damage risk

  • Offer improved delivery flexibility

  • Handle machinery with specialist care

Our team will advise if your order qualifies for delivery via our HIAB and any associated costs.

Urgent Point-to-Point Service (Metro WA Only)

For Metro WA customers, we offer an Urgent Point-to-Point Service for in-stock items up to 20kg (excludes bulky or oversized goods). Your order can be delivered within 3 hours, and delivery may be carried out by our Beyond Tools team or a trusted third-party courier such as Uber.

Express Airbag Delivery Services

Beyond Tools offers selected express airbag freight services for eligible items requiring urgent delivery.

Next Business Day Delivery (TOLL Airbag)

Selected products and orders may qualify for Next Business Day Delivery via TOLL (or similar) Airbag services.

To qualify, orders must generally meet the following conditions:

  • Parcel weight must be:
    • Up to 3kg standard airbag service
    • Up to 5kg for selected approved consignments
  • Parcel dimensions must fit within TOLL Airbag packaging and carrier size limits
  • Delivery address must fall within an eligible TOLL express network zone
  • Order must be placed, confirmed and paid prior to the daily freight cut-off time
  • Product must be:
    • In stock at Beyond Tools
    • Ready for immediate despatch
    • Not classified as dangerous goods or oversized freight

The following items generally do NOT qualify:

  • Machinery
  • Bulky or oversized goods
  • Dangerous goods
  • Lithium batteries (selected restrictions apply)
  • Long-length items
  • Special-order or backordered items
  • Palletised freight
  • Regional or remote delivery zones outside the express network

Please note:

  • “Next Business Day” refers to carrier target delivery timeframes only and is not guaranteed
  • Delays caused by weather, freight congestion, airline capacity, public holidays or carrier disruptions are outside Beyond Tools’ control
  • Beyond Tools reserves the right to change freight methods if the selected service is unavailable or unsuitable for the shipment

If your order qualifies, available express freight options will appear at checkout or may be arranged directly with our team.

We work with trusted carriers including Australia Post, StarTrack, DHL and other freight specialists. From time to time, their network delays may affect the shipping of incoming and outgoing goods from our headquarters.
